  • TCC Milestones Mentoring & Coaching Program
  • UT Arlington Mavericks for Tourism Scholarship and Internships for Kinesiology students
  • Leadership Development Program for AISD graduates

2020 Program Initiatives

  • AISD Symposium – a half-day session that will bring AISD educators and tourism employers together to discuss the current and future tourism employment needs, job and educational opportunities and career pathways for area youth
  • TCC Day – a program introducing AISD CTC Culinary Arts & Hospitality Services Program students to TCC Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management Programs including scholarship opportunities
  • Hospitality Training Program – a training program developed to address the employment needs of the community and tourism stakeholders including soft skills training
  • Leadership Development Training – in collaboration with Leadership Arlington and Youth Leadership Arlington, scholarships will be offered to persons interested in leadership roles in travel, tourism and sports management

  • Hotel Student Internship Rotations Program for Arlington Independent School District (AISD) Dan Dipert Career & Technical Center Hospitality Services & Culinary Arts Program students
  • Full-tuition scholarships for Tarrant County College Southeast Campus Hospitality Management & Culinary Arts Program students
  • Annual Scholarship for UT Arlington Kinesiology Sports Leadership & Management Program students and internship placements
  • Student Field Trips
  • Speakers Bureau industry leader-led presentations that introduce students to travel and tourism career pathways and opportunities
  • Needs Assessment and Industry Focus Group
