The National Travel & Work Exchange Program is a work-based learning and experiential travel program that will expose underserved youth to travel, tourism, and sports opportunities and experiences in an environment that is different than their home communities.
The pilot program will begin as a travel experience for a youth cohort between partner cities and expand to include educational and work study opportunities in the future. The program aims to expose youth to different opportunities and encourage and motivate them to consider careers in the travel, tourism, and sports industries.
TSLF will identify individuals to participate in the program through its Teach Tourism Initiative Program and Sports Career Pathways Program and will begin taking applications soon.
The program will be sponsored by TSLF and funded in partnership with travel and tourism and sports organizations. For more information, contact Mary German, mary@travelandsportslegacyfoundation.org.
