Double Your Investment through Your Company’s Matching Gift Program
Thank you for your support of TSLF programs. Many companies support and encourage employee giving by providing a dollar match for every dollar invested in eligible non-profit foundations and organizations. The level of matching applied depends on the company’s policy including funding limits allowed by the company for employee charitable donations.
Doubling your investment is easy. When an employee donates to an eligible nonprofit, a matching gift request is submitted to the employee’s human resources department. The non-profit and donation must meet the company’s eligibility guidelines based on the matching gift program.
If the donation and non-profit meet the company’s guidelines, the company remits a check to the non-profit for the same amount as the employee’s donation.
Check with your company to determine if a matching gift program is offered, specifically guidelines and the process for completing the matching gift request.
