Texas Live! Hospitality and Culinary Scholarship

Up to six $750 scholarships will be available annually for the fall and spring semesters.
Criteria for Eligibility
- Must be currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College attending Southeast Campus
- Must be pursuing an AAS in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management, or Certificate of Completion in Culinary Arts I, Culinary Arts II or Culinary Arts or Catering/Private Chef
- Must have a minimum college GPA of 2.5 or High School Equivalent
- Must enroll in the minimum of 9 credit hours
- An Applicant must complete the entire FAFSA
- Recipient may have the opportunity to complete a tourism/hospitality internship
- Recipient will receive a scholarship for the fall and spring semester if they maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Applications require a 300-600 word essay and two references

- Financial need must be determined by completing a FASFA application at www.fafsa.gov
- Recent High School Graduates or First-Time TCCD Students must provide a final academic transcript or GED scores
- Scholarship amount per semester is $750
Francis Kobty Hospitality Scholarship
A Culinary Arts Scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduate from the Arlington Independent School District (A.I.S.D.) or Mansfield Independent School District (M.I.S.D.) to help a student annually reach his/her goals at Tarrant County College. The family will award one scholarship annually to a TCC Culinary Arts student. The full scholarship will cover tuition, books, and support materials. UT Arlington Scholarships

Scholarships for Kinesiology Sports Leadership and Management, and Hospitality Management
TSLF offers up to two $1000 scholarships for Kinesiology Sports Leadership & Management Program students and two $1,000 scholarships for Hospitality Management Program students annually.
